The Niagara Local is an online food blog established by two foodies as a way to inform the public of “hidden gems” in the region. The blog is published without advertising, but the Niagara Research business team recently informed the owners of potential revenue streams to keep the project viable. With that success, the bloggers now want to develop a mobile application with several key features.
Solution
The team developed a mobile application that increases the ability to search for content and pushes users deeper into the site. The site includes responsive mobile design, GPS functions, a custom user interface for searching, and an itinerary listing.
