International Marketing Plan for a domestic product
Ultimate Kiosk worked with Research & Innovation to develop interactive healthcare software that can be utilized by medical staff in pharmacies and hospitals. They have developed this software on a Windows 8 Tablet for the domestic market, but the company wants to make its product available on a wider geographic scale.
The International Marketing Strategies class researched policies and procedures for entering an international market – using the top five countries identified by the industry partner – as well as how to penetrate the English, Spanish and French markets. They conducted research regarding different health systems and how they are managed, explored barriers to entry, competitors and recommendations on why the product should be exported. The industry partner was given a better idea of which countries to pursue, while the students also had the opportunity to interview for employment at Ultimate Kiosk, as a position became available during the later stages of the project.
