Applications are invited for the regular on-going position of ­part-time Administrative Assistant (2 positions) in the Research and Innovation Division. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. One position is based in Welland to support the Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (WAMIC) and the other position will be based in Niagara-on-the-Lake supporting the Food and Beverage Innovation Centre (FBIC)

Reporting to the Associate Director, WAMIC or the Associate Director, FBIC, the successful candidate provides administrative support to the respective Innovation Centre. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and facilitating the execution of project agreements, tracking project outcome metrics and in-kind contributions, and scheduling project update meetings. The position is responsible for sending invoices to clients and following up on accounts receivable.  The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating student Research Assistant schedules, as well as planning schedules and meetings for the Innovation Centre and its staff as needed.  The incumbent will coordinate shipping and receiving for the Centre, provide purchasing support and assist with planning events and tours.
