Niagara College’s Research & Innovation (R&I) team would like to congratulate both Ana Cristina Vega Lugo, PhD, Scientific Manager with the Food and Beverage Innovation Centre and Kimberley Cathline, Research Program Manager, with the Horticultural & Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre, for being chosen as finalists in the 2022 Women in Business Awards.
Ana was nominated in the Science and Technology category and Kimberley was nominated for the Community Impact award.
The Women in Business Awards (WIBAs) recognize the leadership and success of women in our business community. The WIBAs aim to encourage more women to seek out and reach for leadership roles in business, politics and our community.
The Women in Business Awards, run by the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC), and the Women in Niagara Council, took place Friday, Nov. 18 at Club Italia in Niagara Falls.
