FedDev Ontario shines the spotlight on Niagara College’s SONAMI partnership project

The Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) is showcasing the Niagara College-led Southern Ontario Network for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation consortium. 

An article posted to the FedDev Ontario website on April 9 highlights how Niagara College, in partnership with McMaster University, Mohawk College and Sheridan College, is leading the success of SONAMI—a key project that works to support manufacturers’ research and development needs. Since December 2016, FedDev Ontario has supported the SONAMI project through the Investing in Commercialization Partnerships initiative with an investment of $7.3 million.

The article features comments from SONAMI project manager Krystyn Keir, and Bob Benner whose company  Hamill Machine Co. is working with Niagara College to help diversify and grow in the agri-food sector.
