The fall events season is filling up. You can find Research and Innovation team members at several events over the next few months.
The Horticultural and Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre (HESIC) will be exhibiting at booth 3012 at the Canadian Greenhouse Conference (CGC) on Oct. 9 and 10 in Niagara Falls. A key focus of the booth will be on the new HESIC research greenhouse and plant growth facility, as project intake is open for 2025 in this state-of-the-art facility. Additionally, HESIC has some great presentations on the speaker program. On Oct. 9, Ashley Paling will be speaking in the vegetable growing media alternatives session, and on Oct. 10., in the Greenhouse Technology Network success story session, Christine George and Scott Golem will talk about re-purposing waste and innovations in greenhouse media.
Next, the Business and Commercialization Innovation Centre (BCIC) will be networking on the trade show floor at the SME Summit on Oct. 24 in Toronto.
Catch our HESIC team at the Canadian Fruit and Vegetable Summit on Nov. 27 in Kitchener. Christine George, Research Lead, will be on the speaker schedule as well.
Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre staff will be at the following events:
- • TAC Innovate 2024 from Oct. 22-24 in Montreal
- • 2024 AMC Expo and Trade Show Conference on Nov. 6 and 7 in Etobicoke
