Marc Nantel, Associate Vice-President, Research & Innovation at Niagara College, has been appointed vice-chair of the Innovate Niagara board and directors. Prominent local entrepreneur Albert Iannantuono has taken over as the chair, replacing David Oakes, director of economic development with the City of St. Catharines.
Innovate Niagara’s mission is to help entrepreneurs in high-growth industries to start, grow and succeed. Formerly known as nGen, an organization branded for bringing together players in the interactive digital media field, Innovate Niagara’s recent name change reflects its expanded mandate to assist companies in emerging industry sectors.
Niagara College is one of several partners working closely with Innovate Niagara to accomplish this mandate in the region.
