Research facilities showcased to Pan Am visitors

A group of dignitaries and business representatives from Canada, the US and Central America visited Niagara College this week as part of Pan Am Playbook, an initiative conceived by economic development officials in Hamilton and Niagara.

Pan Am visit WellandPlaybook included visits and tours that showcased the area’s key industries and assets.

The group visited the Welland Campus on July 14, and toured the Rankin Technology Centre, and learned about the projects and activities of NC’s Research and Innovation department. On July 16, the group was at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, and toured the Wine Visitor + Education Centre, teaching brewery, greenhouse Canadian Food and Wine Institute and CFWI Innovation Centre.
