Despite the threat of freezing rain and heavy snow, the show went on – the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention show, that is. Niagara College’s Research & Innovation team exhibited at booth #628 from February 22-23 at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
This year, our booth’s theme was “From seed to table: NC innovation on display” and featured projects from all four of our Innovation Centres.
The Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention (OFVC) is an annual two-day gathering of horticultural crop producers and various suppliers involved in the production of fruits and vegetables. The convention is attended by a cross-section of the horticultural sector including government, industry, business, consultants, producers, associations, researchers, and educators from across Canada and features a great lineup of horticultural experts, educational sessions, trade show exhibitors and great networking opportunities.
