Lunch and Learn Reality Capture Workshop coming Feb. 11

The Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre, along with Cansel, will present Technical Workshop 1 on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at the Welland Campus of Niagara College.

“Reality Capture: Working with As-Built and Design Model Data in 3D” is a beneficial Lunch and Learn event for architects, engineers, designers and CAD technicians, or anyone who has issues working with inaccurate or non-existent as-built data.
A very common and unfortunate circumstance of as-built vs. designed entities is that they are quite often not the same. Large scale and complicated geometry only compound the issue, but, great advances in 3D measurement hardware and software can now address this problem quite effectively. The experts from Cansel will walk you through how to utilize these tools for your architectural, construction and engineering-related applications.

The event takes place Thursday, Feb. 11, from 11:30am to 2pm, at a cost of $40 per person, which includes a meal and the workshop.
The deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 5, 2016.
