Reporting to the Associate Director, Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (WAMIC), the Technical Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales of WAMIC’s services and making certain that clients are satisfied with project outcomes and service standards. The incumbent will also be responsible for delivering relevant sales targets, and monitoring and reporting on sales activity to WAMIC leadership. The Technical Sales Manager will identify opportunities for new service offerings and support business development activities for WAMIC’s applied research offerings.
Some responsibilities include: presenting, demonstrating and promoting WAMIC’s products/services to existing and prospective customers at tradeshows/events; maintaining positive business and customer relationships; scheduling and leading WAMIC lab tours; providing leadership with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
