Researcher, recent grad featured on CHCH Morning Live

Bryan Mewhiney, program co-ordinator for the Renewable Energies Technician program, and Karl Dockstader, a recent grad of the program, were featured Aug. 13 on a segment of CHCH Morning Live, a morning television show based out of Hamilton, Ont.

Mewhiney also happens to be a researcher and industry liaison with Niagara Research, the research and innovation division of Niagara College, while Dockstader gained valuable experience with Niagara Research working as a research assistant on a renewable energies project with a local industry partner.

The segment focused on the college program, in which students are taught about renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and geothermal.
