Kristine Canniff is the Associate Director of the Food & Beverage Innovation Centre (FBIC) at Niagara College’s Research & Innovation division, where she provides strategic leadership for the Centre’s operations, industry partnerships, and applied research initiatives. She oversees business development, research operations, and collaborative projects that help Canadian food and beverage companies develop, validate, and commercialize innovative products and processes.

Since joining Niagara College Research & Innovation in 2013 as an Industry Liaison Officer, Kristine has held progressively senior leadership roles, including Program Manager for the Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (WAMIC) and Interim Director of the Research & Innovation Division. Through these positions, she has led multidisciplinary teams, supported strategic partnerships, and managed diverse applied research and innovation programs.

Kristine brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in consumer-packaged goods, food and beverage innovation, manufacturing, marketing, and business development. She has also taught Marketing through Niagara College’s Continuing Education division.
