The innovative research and business partnerships that are a regular part of Research and Innovation operations were on full display at the 2025 edition of the Ontario Centre for Innovation DiscoveryX conference, which took place April 16 and 17 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.
R&I was on full display at DiscoveryX when the Hon. Nolan Quinn, Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, visited.
The showcase event featured presentations and discussions on the likes of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, cleantech, advanced manufacturing and life sciences, from thought leaders, global innovators and next-gen technology innovators. Research and Innovation provided an interactive display on the economic and community sectors we serve.
During the trade show portion, R&I staff had the chance to discuss our applied research programs with the Hon. Nolan Quinn, Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security.
