Niagara College’s Research & Innovation Division, is offering a limited number of small- to medium-sized businesses the opportunity to tackle one of their most pressing e-business challenges: the website.

Research & Innovation’s Digital Media and Web Solutions Team, including students from the New Media Web Design program, will work with each industry partner to develop solutions to create or improve an existing website. This collaboration comes thanks to the Ontario Centres of Excellence Voucher for E-Business and Technology Adoption program (OCE VEBTA).

To be eligible, successful industry partners will need to:

  • show how the website solution would improve their business
  • demonstrate its capacity to use the outcomes of the project
  • commit to the project in both cash and in-kind contributions
  • maintain the website solution upon the completion of the project

    We Will Deliver

    A website solution, developed in consultation with the Digital Media and Web Solutions team.

    • Project Length: approximately five weeks
    • Project Value: $5,000
    • The Niagara Research team will also provide a tutorial in the final stages to allow the industry partner to maintain the website after the project’s end.

    The website design will be based on WordPress templates, with customization options by the industry partner. The industry partner will also provide:
