Amanda MacDonald is the Proposal Writer for the Research & Innovation division at Niagara College. She joined the division in fall 2023 with a background in community and government relations. Amanda’s key responsibilities include supporting the development team in proposal writing, identifying external funding, and fostering relationships with external funding stakeholders.
Prior to this role, Amanda held the title of Executive Director or Director at various prominent municipal and not-for-profit organizations. An alumnus of Durham College, Canadore College, and Brock University, Amanda also has a Master of Management from Trent University. She is affiliated with the Human Resources Professionals Association and is working towards completing her Diploma in Human Resource Management at McMaster University to attain her Certified Human Resources Executive designation.
She is excited to be a part of such a forward-thinking post-secondary institution and looks forward to contributing to the division’s expansion.
