Niagara Research’s latest edition of InsideNR has been released, with a focus on success in 2013-14. The publication highlights recent projects with industry partners in the research division’s five main areas of specialization.
InsideNR also includes student and staff profiles, and a look at the how research teams, which include Niagara College faculty and students, are solving the challenges of area small- and medium-sized businesses. We have included a timeline of highlights from the past year, including funding for the Industry Innovation Centre, the production of the MADD Virgin Craft Brewed Lager, and visit from various provincial and federal VIPs during the year.
Niagara Research provides real-world solutions for business, industry and the community through applied research and knowledge transfer activities. The teams conduct projects that provide innovative solutions, such as producing and testing prototypes, evaluating new technologies, and developing new or improved products or processes for small- and medium-sized businesses.
With funding support from various provincial and federal agencies, students and graduates are hired to work alongside faculty researchers to assist industry partners leap forward in the marketplace.
