Business Development Coordinator
Applications are invited for the regular position of part-time Business Development Coordinator in the Research & Innovation Division.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, the successful candidate works to support the Research & Innovation Division in responding to the requests of small- and medium-sized businesses within the Niagara Region and beyond. The incumbent will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, following up and providing support to management in all relations with external partners, including the use of appropriate software tools to produce and analyze reports of new project leads.
The Business Development Coordinator works with Research Innovation Centres to support outreach efforts to bring awareness to funded research, technical services and course-based research. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting with the generation of new project leads through internal and external events, from initial identification of relevant events, through to attendance and tracking.
