The Organic General Store is Niagara’s only organic lifestyle store. As a purveyor of fine organic lifestyle products, they are dedicated to deliver the most sustainable products in the market. The store offers a home delivery service for groceries, but everything in the procedure, including ordering, payment processing, basket contents, and shipping route, was labour intensive, as the entire procedure was done manually.
Solution
Niagara College’s Research & Innovation division teamed up with Organic General Store on a collaborative research project to digitize and automate elements of the service by creating a web interface to make the entire basket subscription service easier and faster for both customers and employees.
