Applications are invited for the position of Manager, Business Development in the Research & Innovation Division, located at the Welland Campus.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Research & Innovation, the successful candidate leads the growth of applied research projects and technical services in all forms, for the Research & Innovation division, including recruiting for and facilitating connections of industry and community partners to the Research & Innovation division and academic areas for course-based project work. This work involves working with the Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships, Centre Managers and Research Program Managers to develop and execute strategies related to identifying and recruiting qualified external industry partners and clients, for applied research projects and technical contracts in our Innovation Centres. This will involve working collaboratively with Innovation Centre teams to develop Centre specific sales and marketing strategies and managing execution.
